Me…

I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and can’t imagine living anywhere else. Known for its beautiful summers, stunning autumns, frigid winters and messy springs, our city’s weather patterns keep us on our toes and create very hardy people. I haven’t travelled the world, yet I do enjoy getting myself somewhere to visit with friends or experience new places. The best part for me though, is always coming home.

I have always loved writing with a great pen in hand and a notebook. I’m a sucker for beautiful paper products. I was told at a young age to hone my writing skills and think of making it a career. I had other plans.

What Scissors Taught Me is an idea that has been inside my head for years. After much procrastination, these pages quickly filled with what lived in my heart and soul.

Curl up in your favourite chair, go sit in the sand or on a park bench, or find your favourite blanket and lean up against a tree… take me with you on a plane ride or a car ride and let me share my journey with you.
